Tools
CTI uses reliable UnixTM servers in order to provide solutions:
- Capable of scaling from the smallest workstation to symmetric multi processing fault tolerant high end servers
- Providing low total cost of ownership with ease of installation, administration and upgrades
- Using a standard operating environment for implementations that must still be running many years from now
Client-server architecture is used to allow client applications to run efficiently on industry standard PCs while connecting to more sophisticated application servers. Local cache databases with event-driven updates can be used to provide solutions that are both scalable and highly redundant.
CTI's software uses standards-based languages and libraries in order to ensure the maximum possible portability between platforms and protection against obsolescence. For demanding applications where speed is all-important, use of the C/C++ language along with event driven architectures provides superior performance without requiring expensive hardware.
Research and Development
CTI has been at the forefront of international R&D for the past decade, and the results have been outstanding. These include world's best database technology, leading edge algorithms and problem solving techniques, and complete currency with the evolution of transport and logistics systems. The R&D program has also delivered a stable architecture, platform and language approach for CTI products that manifests itself in extremely high system speed and reliability.
