Case Study: Qantas
CTI has been working with Qantas for over 10 years.
Qantas currently use CTI software for operations control, crew rostering, crew pairing, warehouse management and maintenance.
Operations Control
AirPAC is one of the key systems in the Integrated Operations Control (IOC) center. The systems id used by controllers to monitor and control movement, arrival and departure of aircraft. Using AirPAC controllers can also view valuable information on passenger numbers, crew and maintenance.
WebPAC is used by staff and management outside the IOC to view the current schedule and arrival/departure information.
Crewing
CTI software is used for pairing of flight and cabin crew. It is also used for roster optimization of cabin crew taking into account preferences and availability.
Maintenance
WIMS is used in four locations in Australia for managing the receipt, storage and distribution of consumable and spare parts for maintenance of the Qantas fleet. CTI have built an additional application - PartSmart - which is used as a front-end for maintenance planning, execution and cost allocation.
